This is a true story. A pastor on his way to pray for a sick brother was told by the Holy Spirit that the sick brother will surely die because he abused God’s grace by taking salvation for granted, when he had the chance(s) and for leading others to sin by his own sins. The brother eventually died. God removed him.
This led me to ask, “How sufficient is God’s grace?” Many a times when we sin, we say “His grace is sufficient” but the grace God gave man is for salvation from the power of sin and it’s not a cover-up for sin. The grace for salvation is given once, after which we are to move on to perfection. Bible says “ By His grace you are saved through faith; and not of yourself: it is the gift of God,” Eph 2:8. How you live your life shows how you appreciate this gift of God. My friend, devil is deceiving many, making them believe that God’s grace is sufficient when living in sin. GRACE IS NOT A LICENSE FOR SIN.
Souls are perishing through youthful lust, clubbing, fornication, homosexuality, adultery and other sins. Scripture says “…friendship with the world is enmity with God…” James 4:4b.
Know this: your hour of salvation is near. God is visiting the iniquity of man and His judgment will fulfill its purpose.
“And, behold, I come quickly, and my reward is with me, to give every man according to his work shall be.” Rev 22:12.
Do not harden your heart towards the truth. Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out... Acts 3:19. No one knows when his /her grace will elapse. How many sin(s) do you have left to commit? How many souls have you led astray, and how many more? If you waste you chance of repentance, God will uproot you like the foretold brother who failed to repent when he had his chances.
My Friend, no amount of prayer can save you if God’s Mercy and Grace is shut against you. Pastor E.A, at February Holy Ghost Night, said his prayers could not save his members whose heaven was shut abusing God’s grace by taking sin with levity. For the wages of sin is death...” Romans 6:23.
This also might be your very last chance to repent. Hell is real! God is not pleased over a sinner that dies; yet He executes judgment over sinners who fails to repent or abuses His gift (grace).
The choice is yours. Think deeply on these things…. Do not yield yourself to sin. God loves you! Confess your sins; plead for God’s mercy, after which you live righteously for Jesus Christ. IT IS WELL!
